Description

Have you ever wanted to give Nature a kick in the right direction?
Mankind has long believed in the power of stones or symbols to enhance fertility, with the conception of a child often seen as the force uniting a couple, two families or even Kingdoms!

Fertility symbols appear in all cultures dating back into the distant past, with couples traditionally being offered such gifts on their wedding day, to ensure that the wedding night would prove successful.
Such, therefore, is the disappointment and deep sorrow that a failure to conceive may bring, indeed, apparent ‘barrenness ‘ was grounds for a man to divorce his wife!

We now understand a lot more about the whole cycle of human reproduction, how it works, and why it sometimes doesn’t. Infertility research can help to discover the difficulties that may lie in the way of a couple conceiving, and there are many things that can be done to enhance the chances of pregnancy, from ovulation prediction to IVF.

IVF has come a long way since the first ‘test tube baby’ and many couples today can thank this breakthrough for their families.
Nowadays available procedures read more like Alphabet Soup than family planning, with a variety of interventions from IUI, IVF, IVM, ICSI, to IMSI.
However, undergoing fertility treatment can be expensive for those facing the prospect of repeated cycles, as well as taking its toll on a couple both physically and emotionally.
It can leave you drained and exhausted, overwhelmed with conflicting emotions as your body goes through the preparations required to prepare for the harvesting, conception and successful transfer and subsequent pregnancy.
Those going down the IVF route will already have a huge collection of medication to address hormones, regulate the menstrual cycle etc, but alongside modern medical procedures, today’s woman can also harness ancient spiritual beliefs, using the same Gemstones that women down the ages have believed to enhance fertility, affect the female cycle, induce hormonal changes and overcome problems conceiving.

This Gemstone bracelet features a carefully selected combination of Gemstones, traditionally associated with the female reproductive system, as your body prepares itself for pregnancy and giving the implanted embryo the best chance of survival.

The bracelet you will receive is created with a range of genuine 6-8mm assorted style Gemstones, threaded onto a waxed cotton cord, completed with a sliding knot.
I will use the following Gemstones:

Rhodonite
Moonstone
Rose Quartz

These Fertility Bracelets are made using 5 of the above stones, separated by beautiful diamanté rondelle spacer beads, with additional Gemstones at each end of the sliding knot. the beads will be threaded onto your choice of coloured cord, baby pink, dark pink or black.
*Please Note, in the photo showing the black cord, the centre Bead is a gorgeous rose quartz twist. This Bead had a very small bore hole, and can only be used on the black cord, which is fractionally thinner.
You may choose the cord colour Select your preference from the drop down menu, or message me before purchase if you would like an option not mentioned.

And while you wear this beautiful bracelet to help your dreams come true, its simplicity won’t be giving away your secrets, as nobody else will know what you’re wearing it for, until you’re ready to announce the good news!

????
Please Note: When you purchase this item, you are commissioning a custom made, bespoke bracelet, created exactly to your requirements, so I can happily accommodate most requests or changes. I do not stock ready made items that can be shipped immediately, as everything in my shop is hand made to order.
However, this does mean that your order can take up to 10-14 working days for me to design and create, even before shipping, so please be aware of this time scale when placing your order.
Additionally, your item enters my ‘work schedule’ once payment has cleared. Unfortunately, payments made directly to Etsy take much longer to clear than Paypal or credit cards via Paypal, which are both instant. For this reason, I prefer Paypal, as your order can be put into my work queue immediately.

*Safety & Jewellery Care*
Avoid wearing your bracelet when sleeping, exercising, bathing or showering.

Unlike some unscrupulous or often uninformed sellers, I will never use synthetic or imitation gemstones in my jewellery. Consequently, I am sometimes unable to source specific genuine gemstones (eg Malachite) at a price that will not impact greatly on the cost of your item. In these cases, rather than use synthetic or imitation stones, I use alternatives with similar properties.
Occasionally, a few very pale gemstones are colour enhanced, which does not affect their meanings and properties.
You can be assured that you will be receiving the genuine article.

I used to be an active primary school teacher, until problems arising from Congenital Hip Dislocation and Bi Lateral Hip Dysplasia. Shortly after the birth of my children, I developed Severe Arthritis in my left hip. After some time and waiting lists (another story!) I had a hip replacement on my left hip. I returned to work and caring for my family, but the hip was never ‘right’ and still caused issues. To cut a very long story short, after multiple surgeries, eventually a severe bone infection was found. This meant removal of the entire prosthesis and iv antibiotic before replacing the hip again. However, Chronic Pain ensued. And ultimately I was offered the option of total permanent removal of the implant leaving me disabled but without pain. Sadly, that didn’t work out too well, and the same level of pain ensued. I was referred to various PMU and underwent many procedures, and have had a spinal cord stimulator implant.

Gemstones have long been my passion, and I’ve always dabbled making gemstone bracelets and pressing them onto my long suffering friends whenever they mentioned some ailment. It was a natural progression for me, when I had to retire from teaching on medical grounds, to begin making my jewellery to sell. This began simply as a way to keep busy, whilst I was in and out of hospital, and I only ever made items to order for people I knew.. but they were paying me, so I could buy more sparkly rocks!
Now I make all sorts of jewellery, but each item is still made with as much love as those first bracelets, and the recipient is the main focus at the centre of everything I create.
So I’m afraid I don’t have ready made items that I can pop into a Jiffy bag when you order, but I will create a specially commissioned piece just for you!
This story started with me as an active young(ish) mum with a career I loved. Now my children are post University, working and living their own lives, my husband is my carer, and I spend a lot of time in bed!
