Description
Sterling Silver Chrysocolla Pendant.
Approx 1.5 inches in drop.
This pendant has a hidden bail on the back.
The name ‘chrysocolla’ was derived from the Greek words ‘chrysos’ and ‘kolla’ which translate as ‘gold’ and ‘glue’. … Chrysocolla is known to form in oxidation zones of copper ore bodies and is a considered a minor ore for the mineral copper. Pure chrysocolla gemstones are rare.
Chain not included but I do have some 18 inch trace chains available.
The silver in my pieces come under the exemption weight, which is less than 7.78g, so therefore, they don’t require a hallmark. Anything over 7.78g, requires a hallmark by law.
