This lovely card is made using seed card with pretty flower or heart earrings hanging on the front. I can make them in most colours.
I have designed it to be completely zero waste.
On the front are earrings to be given as a gift. Then the seed card can be planted giving you lovely flowers after 🌸
Advice from the seed card company for the card; Each card includes Sweet Alyssum, Poppy, Baby’s Breath & Basil. These are non-invasive species that are commonly found in the wild and in garden shops. They can be grown in pots and left outside for bees and other pollinators but we do not recommend disturbing nature by planting in the wild.
Recommended planting time – Spring/Summer
Soak in water and tear into small pieces.
Place pieces in a pot of compost and lightly sprinkle more compost on top
Keep the soil and paper moist (but not soaking wet) in a warm and light environment
Once your small plants have grown, place pot outside or keep on a window that has lots of sun.
Do not plant in the wild.
It will come with a recycled craft brown envelope.
I send my products in recycled packaging . The price includes free second class postage.
Thanks for looking 🌸
Hi my name is Lindsay. Prior to being ill I was a busy, sociable person who loved travelling and doing lots different activities with my children. I was a nurse and loved my job. In 2010 after a run of viral illnesses and a host of odd symptoms including pain, unrelenting tiredness, breathlessness, blurry eyes, headaches and lots more, many investigations and a frightening year of not knowing what was wrong with me I was diagnosed with M.E. Hypothyroidism (diagnosed in 2001) slowed me down but this left me virtually housebound and unable to do what I wanted for my children. Luckily I have a supportive partner but I am mostly housebound and rely on him to do a lot and my children do more than they should to help out. This leaves you feeling down and I struggled with needing something to make me feel busy again. Luckily I discovered crochet and with the help of my mum my crafting journey began. I love it and the freedom you have with it. Now I can feel busy from the comfort of my sofa, although still on a bad day I can’t manage it. I am slowly trying other crafts like jewellery making and card making but these require a bit more energy. I’ll be donating 10% of any earnings to the M.E Association. This is the first online shop I have tried as I love the community feel of it and am looking forward to another new journey x
