! This tentacle got a bit too thick around the waist. The steel ring that holds the cotton cord is not entirely closed. The cotton cord is in place though and I do not think this will be a problem. Just be aware that it could maybe, possibly, eventually, slide through that gap. If so, simply tie the cord around the tentacle instead =) Since this could be a hassle I have lowered the price somewhat. !
*Materials used are polymer clay, chalk pastel, nickel-free steel and waxed cotton cord.
*Due to being handmade, each tentacle will vary slightly from one another.
*The material used makes this necklace fairly light and sturdy, but I would not recommend throwing it to the ground, this might cause damage. IF anything were to break, simply use super glue or two-component epoxy and it will look brand new.
*Please note that the colours may vary slightly due to light condition when the photo was taken. I do my best to edit the photos so as to show the colours as true as possible.

I cannot remember a time when I wasn’t tired and in pain. Working as a licensed veterinary nurse in several stressful workplaces I figured this was normal. Eventually came the crash when I just couldn’t take it any longer. At first my doctors naturally assumed I had a case of burnout. I never got well though and I had another crash, and another. Finally, my KBT-therapist (who I had previously seen due to my symptoms were thought to be stressed-induced) recognized that my history was that of a patient with ME and made sure I had a referral. I got my diagnoses confirmed in the summer of 2019. By then I had lived with it since my late teens and it had only gotten worse.
Art has always been a part of my life, be it writing, drawing and in later years sculpting. I can’t do it for long periods of time, but little by little something gets created. It does not take such a toll on me since I work from home. It is quiet and I do not need to spend energy traveling. I feel like I’ve accomplished something. It makes me happy and sometimes I get to bring others happiness as well.
I do not receive any disability pension. For a huge part of the last years selling my art has been my sole source of income. I am constantly grateful for the financial help I get from my partner and my mom. Currently I am receiving a small amount of financial aid to participate in trying to find my limits with a real job. In the future I might even be able to work a couple of hours a week with some government help. We’ll see how it all works out.
