Discovering that you are pregnant heralds a dramatic change in your life, not to mention the effects on your body and emotions!
This might be your first baby or a sibling for your other child/ren, perhaps you’ve been trying for some time or maybe the time was just right… However you got here, you are now experiencing the wonder that is creating a new life
Over the next 9 months you will be overwhelmed with the physical and emotional challenges that lie ahead.
There will be many side effects, such as nausea, water retention, as well as the slowly increasing bump, and along with the fluctuating hormones, your emotions are also likely to be erratic.
You might find yourself tearful at the slightest provocation, or become forgetful as ‘baby brain’ takes hold.
You will be exhausted (growing a baby is very demanding!), filled with questions, worries, hope and fears as you take your place in this circle of life.

I have designed this bracelet for Mums to be to wear throughout their pregnancy. As each bracelet is made to order, I can accommodate any specific changes or requirement that you might have.
**I am afraid that Etsy regulations mean that I can no longer detail the specific properties that each gemstone is believed to offer, however your bracelet will come with an information leaflet and full description of the properties of each gemstone. Additionally,

Creating Your Bracelet
Each bracelet consists of semi precious gemstone beads, with spacer beads defining each group or set of gemstones.
I can create a Grouped pattern (A), or a repeating pattern (B) using the Gemstones. These different layouts can be seen in the photographs. If you have a preference, you may choose A or B, and simply message me with your preference.
If no preference is indicated, then I will choose the design I feel best fits with your specific size and number of stones needed in the bracelet.
I usually use Swarovski type spacers, as the multi faceted nature of them reflects and augments the Gemstone’s beauty and energy, although should you prefer, small silver plated or hematite spacers can be substituted, or omitted entirely, just let me know if you have a preference when you place your order.
Your bracelet can be made in one of 2 ways to suit your preferences and lifestyle. Please read the descriptions below then select either your size of adjustable bracelet from the drop down menu, or choose memory wire (one standard size)
Option 1
Your bracelet can be made on non stretch beading thread, with a lobster
claw or toggle closure. These bracelets are adjustable, but can be made to fit perfectly.
Prices vary according to size, as larger bracelets require more gemstones.
The following sizes are available from the drop down menu:
Lady S: 6.5″
Lady M: 7″
Lady L: 7.5″
Lady XL: 8″
Option 2
Your bracelet can be created using a single coil of memory wire, which keeps its more rigid circular shape, and gives a look rather like a bangle. It gives a very delicate, dainty look to the bracelet, and is probably more suited to a female wrist.
This bracelet will fasten with a toggle, magnetic or lobster clasp with extender chain.
Due to the pre-set diameter of the memory wire, this bracelet comes in just one size that expands to fit your wrist, with the aid of a small extender chain.
To complete this gorgeous bracelet, I can add a charm that is meaningful to you.
You can choose a cute baby themed charm, such as a pram, a teddy bear or tiny baby feet. Or you might prefer an ancient spiritual charm, such as the fertility goddess or the playful, flute playing fertility god, kokopelli.
If you would rather not announce your intention to the world just yet, then a more subtle charm such as the turtle, traditionally a symbol of long life and abundant fertility, can be added instead, or perhaps my favourite, a butterfly, a symbol of growth, birth and change, it was also believed that a butterfly represents the soul of a baby waiting to be born, searching for a prospective mother.
The finished piece is presented in a delicate organza bag, with an information card and leaflet detailing the gems used and explaining their meanings and properties, how to care for your gemstones, and what they mean for you. Finally it is gift wrapped in tissue and ribbons, to keep the positive energy inside, just waiting for you to open!
Each stone has been charged with loving intent whilst the bracelet was created, and the finished item charged with Reiki.
So, your bracelet can soon be in your hands, encircling your wrist with beautiful gemstone beads, just as it metaphorically surrounds you with its wonderful energies!

Please Note: I do not stock ready made items that can be shipped immediately, as everything in my shop is hand made to order. When you purchase this item, you are commissioning a custom made, bespoke bracelet, created exactly to your requirements, so I can happily accommodate most requests or changes.
However, this does mean that your order can take up to 10-14 working days for me to design and create, even before shipping, so please be aware of this time scale when placing your order.
Additionally, your item enters my ‘work queue’ once payment has cleared. Unfortunately, payments made directly to Etsy take much longer to clear than Paypal or credit cards via Paypal, which are both instant. For this reason, I prefer Paypal, as your order can be put into my work schedule immediately.
*Safety & Jewellery Care*
Avoid wearing your bracelet when sleeping, exercising, bathing or showering.
Unlike some unscrupulous or often uninformed sellers, I will never use synthetic or imitation gemstones in my jewellery. Consequently, I am sometimes unable to source specific genuine gemstones (eg Malachite) at a price that will not impact greatly on the cost of your item. In these cases, rather than use synthetic or imitation stones, I use alternatives with similar properties.
Occasionally, a few very pale gemstones are colour enhanced, which does not affect their meanings and properties.
