Description
Dragons of Shropshire are most adorable, meet our sweetest Dragonet yet – the Meadow Lightfoot.
A one of a kind miniature needlefelt dragonet sculpture.
Nestled cozy, all warm and dozy – a teeny tiny #shropshiredragonet.
A Meadow Lightfoot aka Midge Hopper????
Yes, we know. We’ve not come across a dragon with an aka before either ????
Allegedly they picked up the moniker as they are most often mistaken as part of the pesky midge clouds that hover alongside waters edges.
These delightfully tiny dragons use the midge clouds as cover to get from one end of the Meadows to the other without being picked off by birds of prey.
According to Mathilde (as you know, she is our most reliable source of Dragon knowledge) “Humans are gormless, totally oblivious and never think to look twice at anything they deem icky. Ergo, midge clouds make for fantastic hiding places.”
Dragons are so brilliant ????

This dragonet is approximately 6cm long, 6.5cm tall and 5cm wide and is made using a core of corridale wool overlaid with a hand made blend of green and pale pink merino wool. Little Dragonet has resin cabachon eyes.
The Dragonet is securely fixed to a woodslice that measures approx 10cm wide and is backed with white felt. A small amount of green artificial moss has been added for decoration.
