Rustic Christmas Decorations (set of 4)
Natural elm wood slices have been handmade into Christmas star hanging decorations. Each with an embroidered star in DMC thread, silver eye and black ribbon for hanging. These would be ideal for your Christmas tree to add a rustic touch. All items in my shop are pre-made and ready to post.
Each decoration has been individually hand-crafted, there may be some minor differences in size, shape, colour and texture decoration to decoration. Each wood slice was sealed and sanded with P320 sandpaper, then buffed and finished with beeswax.
While the bark was immersed in adhesive to stabilise it, it is fragile and may detach during use. Please put any detached bark in the bin. Not all wood slices started life with a full border of bark, I chose to keep and use those wood slices where the bark was not complete in order not to waste them.
Each branch from which I made the wood-slices was sourced locally from damaged or unwanted trees, dried and then cut by hand.
