Yellow ‘ditsy’ flower design jewellery box or trinkets box.
A wooden box for trinkets or jewellery storage has a filigree, hinged lid that is painted yellow. I have decoupaged with ditsy floral paper and lined with white felt to protect your jewellery. The decoupage paper is reminiscent of a vintage 50s/ 60s style.
This vintage style jewellery box or trinket box is carefully gift wrapped with tissue paper and ‘handmade’ ribbon so would make a pretty jewellery box gift and an ideal gift for girls and teen girls.

I carefully choose all of our Decoupage papers to fit the design and style of the box and the look I wish to recreate. This box is made from natural wood, meaning there are a few minor imperfections, but this adds to the rustic charm of this stunning box.
*This box is not a toy and is unsuitable for children under 3 years old.
Please note that there may be slight colour tone differences from photos, although I try to ensure accurate images.

Hi, I’m Laura and I’m married to Joel, with two sons; Zeke and Luca. I’m disabled due to a number of chronic illnesses which leave me bed bound, due to severe pain. In 2014 I was diagnosed with the rare brain condition-Intracranial Hypertension (IIH). I have restricted blood vessels which means that blood can’t drain properly, causing raised pressure inside my skull. This pressure mimics a brain tumour, causing debilitating symptoms and leaving me mainly bedbound. I’ve had a constant, severe headache for over 4 years, I fall or pass out often and have many other life-limiting symptoms. My everyday pain is often worse than that associated with childbirth. I’m having ongoing brain and skull surgery to improve my symptoms, but my prognosis is unknown.
Before this diagnosis, Joel bought me silver smithing classes. I grabbed the opportunity and started to make myself the jewellery I’d always wanted. I found I had an unexpected eye for design, but had to stop using the workshop tools and machines when I fell ill in 2014. After months of constant pain, I decided to make jewellery at home as a distraction. I taught myself new techniques, that built on what I already knew. Seeing my creations bring joy to others, gave me back a sense of purpose, after losing the teaching career I’d loved. My situation affected my mental health and I began writing to process my feelings. I rediscovered my love of poetry and started making poetry keepsakes, as well as jewellery storage and greetings cards.
I appreciate you taking the time to read my story and visit my store. I’m passionate about celebrating individuality in my original designs; be it a gift or a treat for yourself. Whether you want a piece that stands out from the crowd or subtly shows what makes you, you; I’ll always be on hand to ensure you feel amazing. Everything I make is one of a kind and where I do offer multiples, each piece is exclusively designed for you. My husband helps me with photography and other things I struggle with. My family’s support means that I can spend my energy on creating beautiful designs and ensure that my customer service stays rated 5 stars.
