Most geologists agree that jet is a fossilised Araucaria tree. The result of millions of years of compression of decomposed wood similar in type to Chile pine or Monkey Puzzle. A precursor to coal, jet is warm to the touch and comes in hard or soft form – hard if found near saltwater, soft if close to freshwater. The jet discovered at Whitby is of the Jurassic age, approximately 182 million years in the making.
The sleeping beauty turquoise mine is near Globe, Arizona. The stone received its name from the mountains around the mine, which are shaped like a sleeping woman. However, this mine closed in 2012.
But surprisingly, it didn’t close due to a lack of turquoise. This mine produced both turquoise and copper, and when it was sold to a new owner, they chose to focus on copper mining instead.
This closure affected the sleeping beauty turquoise market and the prices have drastically increased since 2012.

I started jewellery making back in 2010. It was a way of coping after I lost my Dad. Sadly losing my Dad took its toll on my health, and I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression.
I was diagnosed with chronic sinusitis back in 2010, after suffering facial pain and various infections. This flares up from time to time.
In 2014, I started getting severe lower back and leg pain, and after lots of physio and an mri, it confirmed that I have degenerative disc disease. Sadly there is no cure for this. After having various medications to help control my pain, this has now affected my stomach, and I now have ongoing inflammation of the stomach, and I am very limited to what I can eat and drink. This affects me every day as I can no longer take pain relief for my back, or any other illnesses.
My underactive thyroid was diagnosed in 2019.
2022 I was diagnosed with Gilbert’s syndrome after my blood tests kept showing elevated bilirubin levels. This is linked to the liver. Unfortunately this is incurable and untreatable.

To request a cancellation, please notify me before your order has been dispatched. Once the order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged (unless they have arrived damaged or defective):

Conditions of return:
1) Buyers are responsible for return postage costs and for ensuring that the item(s) has been returned in unused condition. If the item(s) is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
2) Buyers are responsible for any item(s) that you return until Debonair Creations has received it. You are therefore advised to use a tracked postage service with suitable compensation cover in case the item(s) is lost or damaged in transit.
3) If you are returning a damaged / faulty product, your return postage costs will be reimbursed once we have inspected the item(s).
