This bag features my original poem and artwork. “Shine bright, don’t give up the fight, everything’s gonna be alright’. It featured in a mental health awareness competition on my facebook page.
I am a big supporter of mental health awareness and it is very important to me that we end the stigma surrounding mental illness. The competition I ran asked for suggestions of how to look after your mental health and that is very important.
This bag is made from recycled plastic bottles so is helping the environment. It’s great as a gift for someone who cares about the planet. It’s a bag you can use again and again so it also means you don’t need to use or buy plastic bags that end up in the ocean harming wildlife or in landfill.
This bag is big enough for an a4 notebook and pencil case so ideal for school, college, uni or work. Alternatively, it’s the perfect size for carrying your lunch every day.
I make these to order and am creating beautiful gifts around my own mental and physical health issues so please allow plenty of time for delivery. I don’t have a huge warehouse full of stock, or an army of employees. It’s just me and it takes time to pour in all the love that is necessary to make my “Adorable Works of Heart”.
In the interest of looking after the environment and saving you money on packaging, I try to use recycled packaging where possible. If you’d prefer new just let me know and I’ll do you a premium listing.
Thanks for looking. I hope your day is as special as you are.

I married my wonderful hubby in 2012. 2 weeks later I became very ill. I rapidly lost the ability to walk properly, experienced constant pain and involuntary movements and extreme fatigue. I was admitted to hospital on Christmas Eve 2012 and we missed our honeymoon as a result.
I was subsequently diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder. It’s one of those conditions that most people have never heard of…including the doctors! My life as I knew it was ripped from under me. I had a full time job working in a school helping young people, an active social life, was physically active and was very independent. That is sadly a world away from how my life is now. I was always creative but now that I’m too poorly to work, I think I’d go mad if I couldn’t channel my limited energy into making pretty things for others to enjoy. It gives me a sense of purpose and I enjoy hearing customers say that they love what I made for them, and coming back for more. I also love that customers soon become friends and I’m thrilled to join this lovely supportive community to meet more Conscious Crafties.
