This listing is for a .925 Sterling Silver miscarriage and baby loss memorial charm necklace to mark the heartbreaking loss of a much wanted baby.
This is a beautiful piece to remind you that you will always be a mother, even if your arms are empty, a bittersweet thought, but one that will ultimately give you the strength to carry on.
The necklace comprises a delicate, .925 Sterling Silver 18 inch chain, with a Sterling Silver disc, imprinted with Baby footprints, alongside a dainty Sterling silver heart, with an infinity cradled within. Both the infinity heart and the footprint disc measure 11mm across,
This is a beautiful, subtle reminder that your baby will be forever held within your heart, the perfect way to honour and acknowledge this little life.
The photograph shows the necklace paired with a beautiful freshwater pearl, threaded delicately onto Sterling silver. Pearls represent both motherhood and tears, achingly appropriate in this situation.
However should you wish, you can choose to replace the pearl with a genuine 8mm Gemstone Birthstone instead.
Many jewellers use coloured glass to prepresent the Birthstones associated with each month, but I prefer the natural beauty of the genuine article. The final photograph in the listing shows the Birthstones associated with each month, as well as an indication of the Gemstone’s colour. Please be aware, however, that the necklace chain is very delicate, and Gemstones can be heavy, so that more than 2 Gemstones will look cluttered, as well as increasing the risk of breakage.

⚠️ This necklace is on a delicate Sterling Silver chain, which is a very soft metal, and therefore is fragile and will not withstand rough handling.
Consequently the charms used need to be small and lightweight also. Before ordering, please check that you are aware and understand the actual size of the charms, to avoid disappointment. As stated above, the charms both measure 11mm across (1cm), and the Gemstone is approx 8 mm.
Please be advised that the chain or the rings attaching the charms WILL break if subjected to sharp pulls or tugs, such as catching in a hairbrush, or on a coat button etc, and should not be worn when sleeping if you wish to prevent breakages. Additionally, any damage from wear and tear will be rapidly escalated if the piece is exposed to water, shampoo, perfumes and lotions, so should be removed before showering or bathing, and be protected against exposure to chemical products etc.
