Description
Scottish Genealogy/Family History Starter Disc/USB Flash Drive including required Forms & Glossaries to get you started
Researching your Family History can be one of the most rewarding things you ever my do in your life.
They say it can take 30 years to complete your research and even then you still need to add in Births, Marriages & Deaths as they happen! With this comes a lot of information and paperwork and it could be a problem going back to look at a family say 10 years after you have researched them if you have not recorded sufficient information. That is why recording what you have found, checked and want to check at the time is extremely important.
This range of Glossaries and Forms has been compiled by a Professional Genealogist to not only assist the Family Historian in keeping all that information organised but explain some of the terms that you may find in the records.
Disc contains 13 x Genealogical Glossaries/Guides & 22 Printable Forms to start you off on Researching your Family Tree in Scotland. A lot of the Glossaries are aimed at Scottish Research though most of the forms could be used when researching in other countries.
You don’t have to use the complete range of forms, but we have tried to provide as wide a range as possible to cover most of the aspects of your research. This includes forms for use whilst transcribing records from the many archives, records offices and libraries that you will visit during your course of your research.
