I first opened my business in 2017 after being advised by a GP to take up a hobby in order to take my mind off my skin condition. After a particularly bad skin flare up for over 12 months I was left very depressed and anxious on Immunosuppressants. My cross stitch sewing helped me keep my mind off things and I thoroughly enjoyed it. This led me to start my business making cross stitch designs on baby grows. I then decided it would be nice to have baby bibs to accompany my babygrows, so I bought myself a sewing machine and began designs for baby bibs. During winter 2017 I posted a tweet of one of my festive baby bibs and a friend asked if I could make festive dog bandanas. From this I developed my line of dog bandanas and later pet bowties (usually modelled by my best friend Billy the Staffie). I have recently bought an embroidery machine and hope to be able to personalise products shortly. I am also developing a line of cross stitch kits and plan to make dignity bibs for those with additional needs before too long (this stems from my previous employment as a Teaching Assistant to children and young adults with Profound Multiple Learning Disabilities.)
