Personalised Photo Candle Lantern

All my life I’ve been the carer. I grew up watching my gran fight her battle with MS. I then became a young carer for my dad who had osteoporosis and chronic asthma, amongst other debilitating conditions. Sadly both my gran and dad are no longer here but certainly taught me y battle is worth fighting.

I had my first daughter 7 years ago, born 2 months prem with a rare cyst on the brain. Unfortunately this wasn’t discovered for a year and as a result has had her own struggles with hydrocephalus, spending years in and out having brain operations. Having a shunt in place now means a life of surgeries for her. Adding to her challenges she has been diagnosed with autism and anxiety. As the invisible conditions, they can be more of a struggle at times than the physical aspect of her hydrocephalus and delayed development.

I now have a younger daughter as well (1 year old) and recently made the time to get married. Family is everything and money means nothing when I can be at home and try help both my girls, especially my oldest. I am just a mum wanting to show my girls that work isn’t a typical 9 to 5 office job. Earning money, having independence and something as your own can mean so much. But showing my girls that I can make a few extra pennies by doing something I love (and at times have them help) means the absolute most to me!
