Welcome to my online handmade and personalised gifts shop Dee-lightful Gifts.

Personalised and handmade gifts – created by you – made by me!

I started my little business during lockdown number 2. I have always been interested in crafts and making things. I had a breakdown in October 2020 and as part of my recovery I decided to go back to making things to help my mental state. I suffer with depression anyway and have done for most of my life as well as anxiety. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2005, osteoarthritis in 2007, degenerative discs in my lower back and neck, I do have other health issues. However, I manage to stay positive, stay strong, work full time and run my small handmade and personalised craft business which helps me stay motivated, keeps my mental health healthy, and keeps me busy but I do have to watch `I don’t over do it.

This helped me so much I decided to make things for others to enjoy. That was when Dee-lightful Gifts was born. In January 2021, when a friend told me they would purchase one of my items, I took things to the next level and started making items to sell online.

I started small selling items on Facebook and Instagram and it grew. I then opened a little shop on Etsy. I made a few sales but want to be independent and do all of this for myself. So I decided to take the plunge and create my very own website. I have never done this before and I am learning each minute of each day.

I hope it continues to grow, I believe in myself and my products.

I hope you enjoy receiving one of my items as much as I enjoy making them.

This is my story and thank you for purchasing from my small online gift shop.

Many items can be personalised and photo’s added. Each order is personalised or handmade just for you. I work very hard to create that personalisation that you may not find on the high street. I struggle to find my granddaughters name on many personalised items in the high street stores, so now I make my own for her. The benefits of purchasing from a personalised and handmade gift shop is you too can have any unusual or usual (unique as I prefer) name, photo or a quote of your choice on all of my items. If you have purchased something that you would like personalising – look no further than Dee-lightful Gifts, not only can I create, make and personalise all my items, I can also personalise your own items too. If you would like to more information on this service then please do not hesitate to get in touch. Whether you would like a glass vase etching with a personalised message for a loved one, or a name or quote on a favourite jumper – then let me see what I can do for you.

If you have anything specific you would like please get in touch I am very happy to help.

My creations include personalised shadow box photo frames, personalised pop-up box cards, dress jewellery, personalised mugs, personalised tooth fairy kits, keychains/key-rings, christmas baubles, greetings cards, chalkboard wedding day countdown, personalised glassware, personalised bottle bags, personalised notebooks, personalised bottle openers, and much more. I can also make vinyl labels for you to add to your own items too (not added on website but can be made to order).

Take a look around and see if there is anything you would like to purchase.
