Wonderful unique cards

Posted on22nd August 2020 by Jude Dallimore-Symonds

Absolutely thrilled, I contacted TVCZ to ask if they were able to create a personalised button card of my design. The very prompt answer was ‘no problem’. Wow, it has arrived and it is even better than I had hoped for, I love it! It is a unique card, beautifully crafted. I cannot wait to order more from this company.

My name is Catherine but my friends and family call me Cat.
I have been married to my wonderful husband James for 11 years and a mummy of two beautiful boys. Oliver, who is forever 11 and Ethan who is now 13 but going on 18!
Life has given me a series of very hard knocks which I try to craft my way through with a smile or sometimes with a tear in my eye.
I enjoy creating and it helps me fill a massive void in my life after my gorgeous boy Oliver died.
Oliver had downs syndrome and he died in August 2013, three days after his 11th birthday. He was our whole world. He flew to heaven, or Hushabye mountain as we like to call it, (Chitty chitty bang bang was Oliver’s favourite film) after 3 relapses and 8 years of fighting Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.

I also have a mirage of chronic incurable illnesses, disability and I also suffer from mental health illnesses; some days it is a struggle to even get out of bed. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and in the medical world, I am known as a medical zebra. My logo represents that and her name is Able. I am choosing to put the able in my grief and illnesses whilst I still can.

Over the years I have turned my hand to create many things and I love the challenge of adapting the way of doing things so I can work to the best of my ability, physically and mentally.
I have finally found my passion and create beautiful artistic works using creative machine embroidery.
I nod towards my Mental Health through my art work. I create my embroidered stitch art in grey scale. People with with Eupd/Bpd often have an all or nothing, black and white way of thinking! My pictures represent my journey in to my Mental Health and learning to see the beautiful greys in-between!
I can also create custom bespoke pieces too. If you are interested in any of my work, please feel free to send me a message.
Many thanks for taking the time to visit my shop
X Cat
