I designed these handmade dark blue Sodalite earrings inspired by the 1920s Flapper style.
There are also toning premium quality crystals from the world respected crystal company in Austria. When you look closely at these crystals you’ll notice that they actually have 2 colours. They are one of their newer blended crystals where one side is blue & the other side is clear. These crystals were retired in 2016, so are really hard to find. So, unfortunately, I only have a limited amount of this crystal & sadly can’t find any more even internationally.
Why did I chose this shade of crystal? These Sodalite beads are dark blue with paler patches on them & thought that they’d complement each other beautifully.
To complete this elegant design are small Sterling Silver seamless round beads, tubes & plain, shiny daisy shaped bead caps.
Hanging from strong Sterling Silver headpins & high quality, hallmarked ear wires they have a drop of 41mm. So can still be seen if you have long hair.
Sodalite semi precious gemstones naturally have varying degrees of lighter blue and/or white markings on them. So each piece of jewellery will be a little different. Some also have stunning patches of iridescence.
