Wear this bracelet with Pride!
This unisex Rainbow Pride flag kumihimo bracelet is braided using 24 lengths of DMC cotton and finished using silver-toned hardware, including a simple toggle and bar clasp.
It is made to be hard-wearing, colour-fast, beautiful, affordable and a thing for the wearer to feel proud of. Too often, Pride jewellery has been made without care for quality, longevity, variation (there’s more than 1 Pride flag!), finish or even the order the colours go!
My intention is to make beautiful, affordable, beautifully-finished bracelets that will reflect the Pride you have in your identity. It’s been an ambition of mine to use Kumihimo to make beautiful Pride jewellery since I first learned to braid and I’m thrilled to be able to offer this first batch of 13 flags.
Some flags lend themselves well to braiding, and I had to decide which flags to make in the initial collection. If the flag you want isn’t here, please DO get in touch and we’ll figure something out. Also, if you identify as an ally and would like a bracelet to reflect that, I can flank the braid with black and white beads, as in the Ally flag.
