Description
Jessie Bear is a little bear that tried to jump over the moon, no one belived that she could do it but she proved them all wrong by using her brains. Jessie caught the moon in a bucket and jumped straight over it without any trouble at all.
Jessie is handsewn from faux fur in a gorgeous black and white print. Her face has been painted with dyes and acrylic paints. She has been thread jointed and has a little embroidered nose which has also been painted for firmness. Jessie has a beautiful felt dress with a bow and a pretty ribbon. She has a matching flower in her hair too.
All Bears by Samantha Webb have a tiny silver heart stitched to them with an S engraved upon it.
Jessie is roughly 15cm when seated. She has glass eyes and an embroidered nose. None of my bears are suitable for children I am afraid as they have not been CE tested. It is my aim to improve my bear making skills and every bear that I make comes out a little better than the one before it. Every bear is stuffed full of love!
I was challenged to make a bear that represented a nursery rhyme character and I chose the cow that jumped over the moon from the nursery rhyme Hey Diddle Diddle. I think she came out just great and the cow print fur really suits her personality.
