This set of 4 mental health support postcards is designed to uplift the spirits of anyone struggling with their mental health. 20% of the profit from the sale of these goes to Mind. The mental health charity. They feature a heart shaped cause ribbon designed by me. In the centre it says ‘I care about mental health’. The words on the ribbon are support, kindness, compassion, love, friendship, understanding,  conversation, listening….all things we need to look after our mental health.

There are so many mental health conditions and rarely do they get the attention and funding they need so that people don’t suffer in silence. The different colours of the cause ribbons on the postcards represent the variety of mental health conditions that need support. You will get 4 postcards in this set. Each in a different colour.

They are designed like a regular postcard on the back and come with coloured envelopes to send them in. Why not brighten someone’s day and let them know you are thinking of them? Unlike a holiday postcard that may not be of use for long, these are perfect for displaying positive messages of hope and don’t lose their appeal. Ideal for on a pin board or with a magnet on your fridge. I believe that the more we surround ourselves with positivity and inspiring messages of hope, the more likely we are to feel positive and hopeful.

I have suffered with depression, anxiety, OCD and panic attacks for most of my life. I passionately believe that reaching out and helping each other is so important. I have personally turned to mind in my darkest times and found them so helpful. Sadly we have recently lost one of our fellow Crafties and I’ve also recently lost a friend and colleague who’s struggle became too much to bear. I am hoping that these cards can help people when they are struggling.

These cards were lovingly designed by me to focus on the things we need to offer and receive when our mental health makes us or a loved one vulnerable. Every moment is worth it if they have the potential to save a life and show someone that you care. Please help me to help others by buying these cards and using them to reach out, talk and promote good mental health. Plus guide those struggling to seek help when life feels too hard to bear.

I married my wonderful hubby in 2012. 2 weeks later I became very ill. I rapidly lost the ability to walk properly, experienced constant pain and involuntary movements and extreme fatigue. I was admitted to hospital on Christmas Eve 2012 and we missed our honeymoon as a result.

I was subsequently diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder. It’s one of those conditions that most people have never heard of…including the doctors! My life as I knew it was ripped from under me. I had a full time job working in a school helping young people, an active social life, was physically active and was very independent.  That is sadly a world away from how my life is now. I was always creative but now that I’m too poorly to work, I think I’d go mad if I couldn’t channel my limited energy into making pretty things for others to enjoy. It gives me a sense of purpose and I enjoy hearing customers say that they love what I made for them, and coming back for more. I also love that customers soon become friends and I’m thrilled to join this lovely supportive community to meet more Conscious Crafties.

Returns Policy

If you are not totally in love with your item, I operate a 30 day money back guarantee (excluding custom or personalised items that cannot easily be resold). Please email me within 14 days of receiving your item, indicating if you would like an exchange or refund. Please include date and details of your order: caringcreative@aol.com If you wish to return your item, you will be notified of where to send it. Unless the item is faulty, you’re responsible for return postage costs. Once your return is received and inspected, you will receive an email to notify you that your item has been received. If requesting a refund, your Paypal account will be credited within 5 days. If you have chosen to receive an exchange, on receipt of the returned item, a replacement item will be made. (Please bear in mind that this shop is run by 1 very poorly lady who hand makes everything and if you require a new item to be made then this will take time).
