This stunning memory wire wrap bracelet is made using amber coloured smooth glass chips with silver plated and natural wood spacers on stainless steel memory wire.
Memory wire is so called because it retains its shape even when manipulated. In order to make the loops for this bracelet, I used a special jewellery tool made specifically for working with memory wire. I also used specialist snips, as memory wire is much harder than normal jewellery wire and can cause damage to standard jewellery snips.
Memory wire bracelets do not need clasps as they wrap around your wrist and stay in place. This bracelet will fit wrists up to 7 inches.
I have not added any charms to this bracelet as I feel it is perfect as it is, however if you would like to add some charms I can do this for you. Leave me a message at the time of ordering outlining what you would like, and providing I have the charms in stock I can add them for you, or order them in if I don’t have them.
This bracelet has been made using upcycled beads and glass chips from several other pieces of jewellery. Upcycling is my favourite way of making my jewellery and accessories, as it means that you get a completely unique piece of jewellery at an affordable price, and it prevents the original pieces from going to landfill. All wire, findings and earwires used are new, as these can often not be upcycled, although I do upcycle clasps if I can. All of my ear wires are Hypoallergenic and Lead and Nickel Free.
