This listing is for a gift certificate to buy a loved one a keepsake memory bear. You will get a printed gift certificate that should be used within 6 months from date of purchase. The price includes the £8.40 delivery of the bear when it has been made.
Handcrafted keepsake memory bear made with love from your loved ones clothing.
Every bear I make is unique – each bear has their own characteristics that make them all the more special.
The bears are approximately 12-13 inches, or 30-35 cm tall from head to bottom (not toes). The bears are made so that they look like they are sitting down.
Please note – this product is not a toy. It does not bear the CE or the UKCA mark. I will be using polyester hollow fibre for stuffing as well as safety eyes.
What happens after purchase?
You will need to choose items of clothing that you would like me to make the keepsake bear from.
For baby/young child clothes, I will require around 7-9 items of clothing depending on the workable space on them.
For older child/adult clothes, I will require a minimum of 2 items of clothing, however if you would like to send me more, that is absolutely fine. I will send back what I do not use. If you only have 1 garment, I can use contrast fabric from my own stock for the ears and feet pads if necessary.
Please send clean and undamaged clothes only.
I will send you my address after the order has been placed. Sending me the items of clothing is done at your own expense.
If you have any specific requests, for example a logo on an original item of clothing in a prominent position on the bear, I can most certainly do that for you. This is your bear, your memories.
The bear will take about 4-5 weeks maximum to make.
The bear will be sent to you via DPD next day delivery.
