Each is entirely hand crafted – cut from my own hand drawn paper template & painstakingly decorated & sewn.
Each is decorated with real feathers & wooden buttons for wings & matching buttons or jingle bells for feet – with coordinated legs & hanging loop.
The most favoured place for my chickens to live seems to be on kitchen cabinet door handles ☺️
As each one is entirely unique the decorations cannot guarantee to be repeated but background body colour can be chosen.
The chickens pictured here are not necessarily the ones available for sale at the time of your purchase – they are examples of variety & background body colour – but if a particular one takes your fancy, please do message me & I’ll do my best to make one as close as possible to your chosen chicken ????

Since a family, childhood trauma, I have suffered from various forms of chronic OCD and an anxiety disorder.
Growing up with these conditions is tough – watching all your friends do everything that ‘normal’ teenagers do – sitting exams, learning to drive, going to college, university and forging careers – while you are crippled by your own mind creates a sadness and sense of failure I can’t even begin to describe.
My passionate, sought after career plans had to be abandoned- as a beauty therapist and later as a midwife – they were over before they could begin in earnest.
But in the wake of these continuous disappointments what always remained was my crafting -both as a means of income and a distraction. Unable to fulfil my desired potential, I’ve been forced to rely on the creativity inside of me – I am literally ‘blooming where I am planted’ ????

Returns Policy
If you are not totally in love with your item, I operate a 14 day money back guarantee (excluding custom or personalised items that cannot easily be resold). Please contact me via my Contact Craftie button within 14 days of receiving your item, indicating if you would like an exchange or refund. Please include date and details of your order. If you wish to return your item, you will be notified of where to send it.
Unless the item is faulty, you’re responsible for return postage costs. Once your return is received and inspected, you will receive an email to notify you that your item has been received. If requesting a refund, your Paypal account will be credited within 2 days.
If you have chosen to receive an exchange, on receipt of the returned item, a replacement item will be made. In the unlikely event your item needs to be repaired, you’ll be informed how long this will take.
