This is a one of a kind, washable, re-useable very handy roll up market or shopping bag. Now that shops are having to charge for plastic bags, and taking into account the impact plastic is having on the oceans, keeping a re-useable shopping bag in your handbag/pocket/car makes great sense.

This bag has been handmade using good quality fabric which will not only last a long time, but will look very stylish at the same time. Fully washable so you can keep it fresh and clean. These bags also make great and thoughtful gifts too.

The main body of the bag is a light cream colour with brown and green leaf prints. The top third is beige and cream gingham fabric as too are the handles. It’s easy to fold up after use and stays compact by using the elastic loop and button. No two bags will ever be the same as I like to mix and match the fabrics accordingly.

Approx measurements: 11.5 x 35.5cms (29″ x 14″)

Approx measurements inc handles 46.8cms (18.5″)

  1. When I was a teenager, I suffered my first panic attack. Thinking they were protecting me, my parents wrapped me up in cotton wool and tried to make life easier for me. I now know, that had they made me face my fears at the time (public transport/crowds), I probably would have coped better. Instead I suffered for years, trying to avoid situations where I would put myself under undue stress. Following counselling in my 30’s, I learnt to accept and embrace my ‘wobblies’ and since then, they have become fewer over the years – they still creep up on me though on occasions, but I’m not afraid of them any more.

In 2011, I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer and subsequently had my thyroid removed. Although the cancer has gone, I am still undergoing annual check ups at our local hospital as unlike other cancers, you never get completely discharged if it’s Thyroid Cancer. It has recently been confirmed that I have Fibromyalgia and I suffer with all the daily struggles that this awful disease brings with it. Following my thyroid removal, I have gone on to develop Osteoarthritis.

Despite all my problems, I count myself as being lucky as there are others far worse off than me. I love to craft whenever I can and I hope you enjoy looking at my products.
