Meet the Dragons of Shropshire Stone Dragon, locally known as the Clee Hill Dragon, and also the Quarrymans Boon.
This one of a kind stone coloured dragon is most frequently found near the top of the Clee Hill, making its nests in the bare rocks above the Quarry ponds.
This wonderful Dragon sculpture will make a big impact on you, your home and your visitors. It is an indoor only piece of wall art. Please dont put him outside, he wont like getting wet at all.
Made with a mix of Shropshire, and merino wools in various shades on stone, needlefelted over a wire armature until the dragon emerges. His wings have been stiffened with a fabric glue solution to give them more texture.
He has black glass eyes. His talons and horns are wrapped wire. He measures approximately 23cm long with a wing span of approx 30cm.
He has a wire hoop on his chest and looks best hanging head-up…but some have said he looks quite amusing upside down – the choice is entirely yours.
The perfect quirky gift for any dragon lover.
Important Note: Dragons are collectable works of art and therefore unsuitable for children in 14years.
