Magical Dandelion wish pendant necklace. Real dandelion seeds set in a resin pendant, for you to have with you always, for all those magical wishes you have in your heart.
Just a few yards from my home, are some woods that we regularly go for walks with our son and his dog Beauty. Every year there are loads of dandelions of all sizes and colours from yellows, through to oranges and reds, that decorate the woods and surrounding farmers fields. When the seeds appear after the flowers have gone over, and the wind picks up, thousands of seeds are blown into the air. (Much to the dismay of gardeners) Sometimes you literally have a cloud of them surrounding you as you walk along and it is quite a magical feeling. So why not capture this magic, even if it is just a small amount. This pendant contains some of that magic into the resin for you to keep.
The pendant is a long cube shape and is approximately 5cm long and 8mm wide.
The necklace is a suede-like cord in turquoise, and is approximately 161/2 inches long, with a 2 inch extension chain.
All findings used are lead and nickel free, with a lobster clasp fitted.
Wipe with a clean damp cloth. When spraying any perfume, deodorant, and hairspray, do so before putting on jewellery. This helps to prevent discolouration and marking of your necklace.
Postage in the UK is free and is adjusted when you’ve entered your address.

Hello all. I’m Sarah and I’m a Carer for my youngest son who is (ASD) – Autistic. As he’s gotten older it’s clear someone has to be around all the time for him, as he cannot be left on his own. So I made the decision to give up secular work, so I could be there for him, and give him the care he needs. But I couldn’t just not do anything, I’d go stir-crazy 😄 And I want to be able to help provide in any way possible, also Conner is quite Arty/Crafty, so this might help him as he gets older too.
I’ve always been an arty person, I went to art college after finishing school, but never did anything with it, as I didn’t really know what I wanted at the time. Making jewellery was a hobby, so now I had the time, turn it into something more. So Sarah’s Nik Naks handmade jewellery and accessories was born. I wanted the name to be something different and quirky, and came up with that and I love it. I love making all my products and trying new things, and making something that you won’t find anywhere else. All of the jewellery boxes used for my jewellery are either, recycled or I make my own. I am also Hallmark registered with the Assay office in Birmingham, as I make fine silver and sterling silver jewellery. So, some of my pieces I make are hallmarked, for silver if the weight is 7.8gms and under it is not required, but you are required to be registered, which I am. Thanks for reading and I hope you like what I make xx
