Mandalas are very therapeutic for me in managing my ME. The circular patterns with changing stitches are a great way to meditate. A mandala can be as complicated or as simple as you like and, with so many designs and effects to create with the stitches, the possibilities really are endless.
Handmade in 100% mustard cotton this mandala is then carefully attached to a metal circular frame. This is the medium size and measures 16 cm across.
A delicate crochet mandala is the perfect gift for the loved ones in your life – and even more so for those craft lovers.

Hey! I’m Tanya, aka Yarnya, a self confessed yarn addict from South East Essex in the UK.
Crochet came into my life in January 2013 when a lady from the WI taught me the basics and everything about the craft just clicked. I turned to websites, YouTube, books – anything I could get my hands on to learn more – and the rest, as they say, is history.
When I fell ill with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (also known as ME) in the summer of 2013, crochet became much more than just a hobby to me. It gave me something to do when I couldn’t do anything else. I had to give up so much of what I loved, but crochet could just come along for the ride and there was a project for every day – Granny Squares for those fuzzy brain days and more challenging patterns for when I just wanted to think of nothing else except creating. It was perfect and it gave me hope.
During the summer of 2015 Mum sat down to teach me how to knit… that was a fun day! But, after the initial confusion of how to handle two needles instead of just one hook. I was off and my Yarnya adventure continued.
If you also love yarn – get in touch by emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I take a limited number of commissions per month, so if you want something in particular please contact me for my availability.
