Hello my name is Gail and I am the crafter behind the shop Pain in the Glass … This name was chosen for the double meaning of working with and cutting glass which can be painful and living with the pain from Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, Asthma and migraines on a daily basis.
I create a large range of glass art from cutting and fusing glass and creating glass lamp work beads on my good days…. On days when I can’t do much I love to sit and crochet as this gives me something to do and helps take my mind off the pain.
I have just started working with acrylic resin making little bits to make into key rings and bag charms as I love learning new crafts
My other life is kept busy with my lovely husband and our 5 little rescue dogs who love us unconditionally and always know when to give me extra love on the bad days…and I have been a dance teacher for 20 years but this is getting harder as I become less mobile so I am hoping that my crafting can take over and become my main job one that I love doing xxx
