Having your own business on Conscious Crafties is awesome. If you’re new to running a business though it can be a bit overwhelming knowing where to start. I’ve run small businesses since I was 17 but it took me forever to get started on Conscious Crafties after opening my shop because I was honestly terrified. After losing my career due to my disability and chronic illness, my confidence was severely knocked. Now I’ve been on Conscious Crafties about a year and I love it. It has given me back my sense of purpose and I’m back making things, which makes me do a happy dance, especially when they sell and I get lovely feedback. Being a small business owner, I have developed products that I have needed in my own business and this is what I’m selling here. This pack is designed to help you to get started. It includes a selection of my best sellers bought together to save you money.
Custom branded business card digital unlimited marketing tool:
Bespoke business cards designed to fit with your existing business logo and branding. I will work with you to create exactly what you need in terms of colours, typefaces and images.
You will receive several digital files:
An image file (jpeg/ pdf) laid out with 10 business cards on for you to print and cut at home, unlimited times, whenever you need them. No hefty delivery charges, no waiting for the postie and no need to get 500 printed if you only need 20.
You will get a high resolution professional image file with a ‘bleed’ for uploading to professional printing companies using the option to ‘upload your own design’. The bleed is a safety line that allows part of the coloured design to be cut off so that the colour goes right to the edge giving a professional quality finish.
You will also get a FREE A4 high resolution version ideal for use as a stall sign if you are selling at craft fairs or events. This high resolution file is yours to use on any marketing. Unlike on vista and similar companies where you can use a template. They own your design and you are unable to take it to another company or use it on other products unless you buy through them. I will design exactly what you need therefore I hold the copyright. Included in this purchase is the licence for you to be able to use this file to market your business however you need to.
This listing doesn’t just include 1 business card design, it includes 2. Ideal for a double sided design. Why not have your details on one side and feature images of your products on the back, to upsell other products and promote your business to new and existing customers. Alternatively, why not use the back for a discount code or special offer to tempt your customers to come to your shop.
Business logo stickers branded with your custom company details:
15 large round marketing stickers featuring your business logo, the link to your online shop and a customisable discount code to encourage customers to return. Alternatively, these large labels can be customised to feature your branding plus care instructions for bottles, mugs, cups and glasses etc. (Approximately 5cm).
8 mini round branded logo stickers, ideal for envelope seals or on small products. (Approximately 2cm).
4 medium round custom logo labels. (Approximately 4cm). These are ideal for branding your products. They work well inside jewellery boxes or on your packaging.
2 small round business logo stickers. (Approximately 3cm). These are perfect for sticking on your handcrafted gifts so that your customers remember that they bought from you and can come back for more.

Conscious Crafties order forms ideal for craft fairs x35
Branded ‘Conscious Crafties’ order forms for Crafties to record their orders from the Conscious Crafties website and to keep on them when selling their creations at craft fairs and to friends and neighbours etc. I always carry order forms in my business planner and have them ready to take orders when seeing friends for coffee etc.
It’s important to make customers outside of Conscious Crafties aware of how long it will take to make their order due to your circumstances. This order form includes a blurb that I successfully use to make people aware of the nature of ordering from a chronically ill / carer Craftie. There’s also a section for the Craftie and the customer to sign both to confirm the order so both parties know what they are making/ buying and both agree to how long it will take etc.
These order forms are ideal for taking with you to markets and craft fairs but are in no way aimed at taking sales away from Conscious Crafties. Using the website is the best way to support our awesome marketplace and selling via www.consciouscrafties.com enables you to get feedback and protects the buyer and seller. Often though, when at a craft market you won’t have access to wifi etc so order forms come in handy. If you do bespoke products you may need to take the customer’s details and do a custom listing on the website for them. These order forms are ideal for that.

Conscious Crafties A5 flyers to recruit new members:
40 copies of the Conscious Crafties leaflet aimed at getting new members to join our community. New members means that more people pay their membership fees which means more of the costs of running Conscious Crafties are covered and it can continue supporting Crafties like us. Karen has recently removed commission on sales so to thank her, we need to recruit new Crafties. These leaflets are ideal for craft fairs, local shops, cafes, hospitals etc.
More members also means raising more awareness of chronic illness and more lovely crafty goodies to buy.
Conscious Crafties stickers:
24 large round marketing stickers featuring the Conscious Crafties’ logo plus #CraftiesRock (let’s get it trending on twitter). Plus ‘Happy Mail’ and ‘love, hugs and sparkles’. Perfect for making your customers feel loved and valued. Plus they are great for spreading the word about Conscious Crafties. They are circles about 4cm wide. These are ideal for on your packaging or as envelope seals.
You’ll also get 15 small heart stickers with the Conscious Crafties’ logo. (Approximately 1.5cm). These are ideal for on small products so that your customers know to come back to Conscious Crafties. They are about 1.5cm in size.
I try to keep costs down for Crafties and sometimes reuse packaging to achieve this (plus it’s more environmentally friendly. If this is an issue, please let me know and I’ll do you a custom listing including new packaging.
In total, these items should total £50.30 at full price. For my lovely Craftie friends though, I have slashed this by over £10 to just £40 including delivery.
