The Bancroft Family are fundraising to help them with day to day life. Paul had a bicycle accident 2017 which has resulted in many hospital trips. He suffered from dvt in his left leg, as well as a broken left knee. This has led to Paul having crps in his left leg constantly in pain, on crutches or in his wheelchair. CRPS is Complex Regional Pain Syndrome which is a rare neurological disorder that is caused by damage to or malfunction of the peripheral or central nervous system. It means that Paul is unable to do simple daily tasks such as putting his socks on.
Lisa (his wife) is now his full time carer and does everything for him. All 3 of their love children help too. Ellie 17, Georgia 14, and Tyler 6. It is becoming a struggle for all the family to help Paul out as their 3 bedroom house is not suitable for his needs.
They need to carry out some works on the house to make it accessible and easier for Paul and his family, the works need to include a single storey extension with a bedroom and wet room with access to the garden via a ramp, a new wider front door so it’s easier to get in to the house, an accessible kitchen. Not only will this make it easier for Paul but also make the house more accessible and help Paul be more independent and take some stress off the family.
The Bancroft family are asking for your help and support to help Paul get some of his independence back.
