My son was born with Pulmonary Atresia, a heart defect. It has been a long battle so far with many open heart surgeries, and more to come in the future. He struggles academically to keep up with his peers, and attends school part time. He is now currently undergoing diagnosis for autism too. He is the bravest person I have ever met!
